Our club had humble beginnings in August 2015. Thanks to our skilled, trained, and experienced Coach Tahseen who moved from Portland, Oregon and dedicated members, we reached unbelievable heights in less than a year. With Edward Beekman, a highly qualified and experienced coach joining our team, our club has reached further heights since 2017. Every week we have visiting expert guest speakers and workshops to improve and develop our communication and leadership skills. We look forward to expanding our club's activities and continue succeeding further in the coming years.

Treasurer: Batoul Hussein My name is Faris Kazi and I am a junior at North Hills Preparatory School and I like to spend time with my friends and family, I love basketball, and am very competitive and enjoy new challenges. One of the main reasons that I am in Toastmasters is because I was inspired when I saw Kobe Bryant speak. He was one of my favorite basketball players and he inspired me beyond basketball through his ability to tell stories and engage listeners in his speech. He used these methods to teach listeners about basketball and inspire them in interviews, seminars, and motivational videos. This was very impactful on me and although I probably cannot be as great of a basketball player as he was, he filled me with a desire to be as great of a speaker as he was and inspire hundreds of people. |
